bio: I spent 39 years in public higher education as a professor and administrator serving at Central Connecticut State U, Southern Illinois, University of Toledo, Western Washington University and finishing as Executive Deputy Chancellor of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Along the way I became expert at labor negotiation, did a stint as President of a local school board, and became a certified mediator.

retire: Retirement is great.  I should have done it sooner.  Mae West was right, "getting old ain't for sissies."  But I do like the discounts.
