Our fiftieth reunion in October, 2009 was a great success. This web site will stay online for the forseeable future. It contains valuable contact information, individual biographies, and many pictures from 1984, 1999 and 2009. This page will be our ongoing chronicle. Send news to Joe Moran at phantomphlyer@cox.net or to me at wbeik@comcast.net. Stay in touch! Bill Beik Chronicle of Events since the Reunion
Rick
Rick Turner and Jean Deyo Kent and Rich Kent recently got together in New London Connecticut. Rick took them on a guided tour of the nuclear submarine USS Nautilus where he served while in the Navy many years ago. It seemed a lot smaller than it was back then but a good time was had by all. Ada [Kroon] Casaza (March 2011) Ann Cooper (Jan 2011) We have learned from John Leonard, Ann Cooper's husband, that Ann’s Alzheimers has deteriorated to the point where he cannot care for her at home. He has placed her in a nearby facility where he can visit her every day. She would appreciate cards and good wishes. The address is Ann Cooper Leonard, c/o Sun City Pacifica Senior Living, Room 204, 3855 Upper Creek Dr., Sun City Center, FL 33573. New Family Photo from Chris Sipler Keirn (Jan 2011) Click Dinner with Smitty December 11, 2010 Nica Fairbanks October 6, 2010: Beckers and Beiks Mike and Eugenia Becker visited Bill and Millie Beik in PIttsburgh, in the middle of a month-long car tour across the country, visitng friends and relatives. June 2010 Cratsleys at Robert Taylor's Show Holly and I were able to attend the opening of Robert Taylor's new paintings on June 5th. Quite impressive! If any classmates are in the Berkshires this summer, particularly in Lenox, they should stop and see his impressive new work at the Welles Gallery, 18 Main Street, Lenox (right next to the Lenox Public Library). Best wishes, John Cratsley. Accompanying pictures May 2010: Beik and Brownell in Paris Bill and Margaret had lunch together in the Marais in Paris and spent a pleasant afternoon reminiscing and catching up. Bill has returned from an extended research trip in Paris. Margaret is selling her Paris apartment and looking for a quieter place in the outskirts. May 2010. Marian , Susan Preston, Chrissy, and Smitty in Morocco In a plan conceived at the 50th reunion and hatched in Morocco, the four of us had a very enjoyable two weeks on a hiking tour. A wonderful, beautiful, exotic and gastrointestinally challenged place to visit and much enjoyed by all. Very best to the 59’ers that weren’t along with us. Craig T Smith , smithcraigt@gmail.com
